Professor Houghton teaches several first-year classes including Forest Measurements, Forest Inventories, Forest Harvesting, and Forest Products Industry Tour and several second-year classes including Wood Identification and Properties, Forest Soils & Hydrology, and, his favorite, Arboriculture, which is how to care for trees and how to climb them.
