Senior Instructor of Human Development and Family Studies
Dr. Yaure teaches Lifespan Human Development and Child Development and helps prepare students for internships in HDFS at Penn State Mont Alto. She is also co-director of the Penn State HDFS in Rome program, offering courses during the summer in Early Childhood in Italy and Italian Relationships in Rome. Her research interests include technology decision making, infant and toddler co-sleeping, and quilting and identity. She has also recently begun a study on test-taking strategies in introductory HDFS classes. Her aim is to help students improve their performance on tests in their classes. Her main goal in her teaching is to enhance the experiences of students, both in the classroom and beyond.
