The Penn State Mont Alto bookstore is your source for textbooks (for purchase or rental), reference materials, school supplies, and Penn State gear. The Penn State bookstore is part of Barnes and Noble Booksellers.  The lower level of the bookstore is home to the Information Sciences and Technology program at Mont Alto and houses two state-of-the-art computer labs.  717-749-6195 

Conklin Hall

Students of the Pennsylvania State Forest Academy constructed Conklin Hall between 1907 and 1909, when it originally served as the student dormitory. After a major renovation project, Conklin Hall is now home to the following offices:

Emmanuel Chapel

Built in 1854, history has it that John Brown spent time at Emmanuel Chapel before his raid on Harper's Ferry in 1859. Penn State Mont Alto bought the chapel in 1992 for $1 and reopened it in 1999. The chapel is available for use by the public for weddings and other special events. For more information, please contact the Business Services Office at 717-749-6031.

Engineering Laboratory

The engineering lab serves as a space where students can design, build, and test prototypes for both class and personal projects. The lab is open to all students (engineering and non-engineering) during regularly scheduled hours.  Before students can use the equipment in the engineering lab, they must complete lab safety training.

George Perry House

The Perry House is named after George Perry, a 1913 graduate of the Pennsylvania State Forest Academy who later became a faculty member at the Academy and houses the Offices of Alumni Relations, Development, and Public Relations and Marketing.

The campus library offers access to the vast array of Penn State University electronic and text collections. Librarians are available throughout the day to assist students with research, obtaining resources from other Penn State campuses, and general reference questions.

Maurice K. Goddard House

The Goddard House is named after Maurice K. Goddard, known as the driving force behind the creation of 45 Pennsylvania state parks and director of the campus from 1946-1952. The Goddard House houses Information Technology Services.

The Mill Café

The Mill Café, a full-scale food court, offers an extensive menu, including grilled specialties, soup, sandwiches, pizza, hearty entrees, chopped salads, daily specials, and delicious desserts, as well as convenient grab ‘n go items. Offices in this building include:

Mont Alto Hall

Mont Alto Hall, a traditional coed residence hall, accommodates two students per bedroom and features common bathrooms on each wing of the building's three floors. The residence hall provides 24-hour security card access for building entrances, student bedrooms, and bathrooms; a central laundry facility; study lounges; vending machines; game room; and a central lobby area with a big-screen TV. Multi-purpose Activities Center (MAC)

This building is a hub of student activities including a gym, fitness center, two racquetball courts, and an auxiliary gym used for dances and other events.  It is also home to Penn State Mont Alto's Athletics Department.

Penn Gate I

Penn Gate I provides a suite for four students, with two double bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The suite building also provides a central lounge area, laundry facility, study lounge, vending machines, and 24-hour security card access to building entrances and student bedrooms. Penn Gate II

Penn Gate II provides suites for four upper-class students, with two double bedrooms and a shared bathroom featuring a vanity area with two sinks, and a separate toilet and shower area. The suite building also provides a central lounge area, laundry facility, study lounge, vending machines, TV lounge, and 24-hour security card access to building entrances and student bedrooms. Physical Plant

The physical plant facility serves as the hub for all campus operations related to development and maintenance.

Police Services

The Penn State University Police provides all law enforcement and security services to the Mont Alto campus. The department provides 24-hour patrol services to the campus and University-owned properties year round. University Police is also responsible for parking enforcement and traffic control.

Science/Technology Laboratory

This classroom building houses a computer lab, high definition videoconferencing room, nursing lab, physical therapy lab, as well as laboratories for biology, chemistry,  physics, and engineering. Offices for the departments of Nursing, Occupational and Physical Therapy, and Forestry are in this building.

Spring House

Centrally located on the Penn State Mont Alto campus, the Spring House was built in 1905. Previously a faculty lounge and mailroom, the Spring House interior was renovated during the summer of 2014 and now has computers for Internet access and space for student veterans to study and gather.

Student Services Annex

The Student Services Annex is a cottage designed to be very similar to the Goddard House, and it is located on the opposite side of the Library from the Goddard House.  Occupational Therapy classes and labs are held in this building.  As well, the Student Services Annex houses faculty offices.

Wiestling Student Center

Built in 1803, Wiestling is the oldest building within the entire Penn State system. Recently renovated, this building houses the student center, as well as the following offices:
